That is why there are infinite ways to develop this personal relationship: following His word within bonafide scriptures, devotional prayer, meditation practices, repetitious mantras and songs of our Lord in which we call upon His name and His protection (we see this with prayer beads like the rosary and mala necklaces), seeking Him in an unwavering intention towards God consciousness within our actions. We must work towards God consciousness as one.
