Jimmy Leach paints and is inspired by the beauty of nature. He lives and creates in rural Northeastern Oklahoma. Leach's education includes a B.A. in Art Education from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah Oklahoma, where he received a full scholarship, choosing to pursue his passion for creating art. While attending NSU, Jimmy won their annual Art Department portfolio competition the last three years he attended, 1989-91. He has had over 25 solo shows and has participated in numerous group shows and competitions.

Jimmy Leach's works can be found in many private collections throughout the USA and overseas. His work is in many public collections including Saint Joseph's Hospital and The Hot Springs Convention Center, both in Hot Springs, AR, The South Arkansas Art Center in El Dorado, AR, The Bank of Fayetteville in Fayetteville, AR, and St. Edward Mercy Medical Center in Fort Smith, AR.
