Queen Anne's Lace grows quite easily as a wildflower as its seeds spread easily and quickly in the wind, leaving many new flowers next to roads and throughout fields across the United States. Many find this an attractive flower, but others simply see it as a pest like a weed. Yes, wildflowers are considered a common ground in landscaping, offering a bridge between manicured lawns and natural areas. They are valued for being low-maintenance, drought-resistant, and essential for supporting pollinators.

Like life, we need to grow and flourish—everyone follow your dreams. Queen Anne's Lace is just one of many wildflowers; there are many different wildflowers of many different colors. Our world needs a unifying symbol, and I believe the wildflower is a symbol worldwide—look at the fields, how all colors wave together and stand united.

The canvas was painted with acrylic paint and spattered with metallic & acrylic paint. Thread painted the stems and added scraps of upholstery fabric for the wild grass. The small starts of Queen Anne's are lacing circles and trims from an upcycled blouse. The heads of Queen Anne's were made with DMC embroidery floss and handmade using French knots.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0412/1857/2439/files/Image_coming_soon_d2b162ca-6bfc-49ae-8bcc-97a1a016a048.png?v=1781990774
