Julie Mayser "Forest Giant"
Julie Mayser, pastel, 7 x 5"
“My work is ever-evolving, leaning towards representational painting with hints of impressionism. My paintings are truly serene, whether depicting the solitude of the country side, a quiet still life or a portrait of animal or person. They are visual meditations that beckon viewers to discover their own inner calm.”
Mayser received her first art schooling at the School of the Art Institute in Chicago, IL. Subsequently she studied at CASC (Poteau OK) and Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Ok. She has also studied with leading artist-teachers in the U.S. and Europe, continuing her art education into the present.
