In the heart of the room, a simple frame table stands—
a single plank of burnished wood,
one unbroken river of grain
flowing wide beneath gathered light.
Two humble A-frames hold it aloft,
legs angled apart yet leaning as one,
braced in silent covenant.
Each timber yields its solitary strength
to cradle the whole. No nail boasts,
no joint protests—only the gentle convergence
where separate lives become
a single, steadfast plane.
Here, the table whispers its quiet truth:
Unity is not the melting of many into one,
but the willing arch of differences—
two legs, one purpose;
many grains, one open surface—
bearing weight without fracture,
inviting hands, stories, and slanting light
to rest upon its warm heart.
In this frame, the scattered pieces of life
find their bridge, steadied
by the ancient geometry of togetherness.
A table, yes—yet also a poem
written in wood and angle,
singing that we rise higher
when we stand not alone,
but framed in unity.
