Animals hold symbolic meanings and universal appeal, serving as complex characters in stories that shape our psychological growth. In my sculpture, A Sphinx in Wolf's Clothing, I explore the vulnerable side within us through an elusive creature transforming into a more powerful creature. In this conceptual twist, the charismatic bobcat hunter and inquisitive fox assume the guise of "a sheep in wolf's clothing." Their commanding silhouettes project resilience, illustrating how we fluidly adapt our identities to meet life's challenges. These figures embody empowerment, inviting viewers to reflect on their capacity for reinvention and metamorphosis.

The sculpture stands as a cultural guardian, celebrating the moments we rise above adversity and develop newfound strength. By translating human experiences into animal forms, I uncover the instinctual forces that underlie our learned behaviors, revealing the universal journey of transformation.
