This piece of art represents a human being, seen from behind so that only his or her head is in view, and the potential of the imagination being restrained withing him or her. The portal, represented by the hole in the middle of the piece, is a pathway that when found and taken releases the beast of imaginations, in a sense that borders or restrictions to it no longer exist. It encourages the observer to find the portal within him or her to enter the realm where our imagination becomes a beast that knows no limits.
