Earrings by Emma was started by Sarah (Mom) and Emma (then 8yr old daughter) Shelton of Oklahoma in 2017. Both Sarah and Emma have ear sensitivity to most metals. Sarah remembered that back in the 80s she could wear plastic post earrings without any irritation. They ordered a pair and thought “Hey! We can make these for ourselves.”  So the earring making began! Five years later, they have a full-time family business and a team of 12, which includes Emma’s Mother, Father and 2 brothers.
